With the season just about over, we wanted to update our fans with the club's vision for the future.

First off and most importantly, we want to say a huge thank you to everyone who has been involved at the club. From our generous sponsors, club members, management team, fans, and our amazing volunteers who work tirelessly to make this club what it is.

This year marked the end of an era! Karl Gormley after 300+ games at the club decided it was his time to depart in December. Karls’ determination and desire for the club to succeed over the past 10 years went above and beyond and although he still attends our games it feels like part of our team has been lost.

Hopefully, he will be back with a role at the club in the not-so-distant future...

We have to remember it was only two years ago that Sixways went into liquidation, not long after taking ownership of Raiders, leaving the club uncertain of its future both on and off the field.
Effectively the club is now a new business run by its members, starting again after a difficult few years.

With the generosity of the Worcester people, its sponsors, and club members who rallied together the club survived a difficult period. Every club member past and present has worked tirelessly for our club to succeed.

Like any new business, we now have to lay the foundations for the future and be sustainable while still achieving everything we set out to do.

After two years of uncertain times - we pulled together, and managed to add four junior teams including a girls' team in the Mercian league, two veteran's squads and a thriving academy giving back to the city which has given so much to us.

Next season we will develop and advance more local talent and add several more junior sides. We also have made huge strides and can announce we’re entering our first under-18s team into the Floodlit league playing from Sixways Stadium on a Tuesday night.

With a vision in five years to have a team at every age level including a Women’s 1st team – an integral part of our continued future.

Although we already have an agreed lease at Sixways, positive meetings have already taken place to extend our lease long-term and we are extremely hopeful we can update our fans very soon.

The new management team are already planning and looking for promotion from Step 5 next season, I'm sure they won't mind me saying after finishing the season strongly.

Keep the faith.
