We, at Worcester Raiders, are looking to add to our hard-working media team. A forward-thinking local football club with plenty of ambition in the local area. The club are looking for volunteers in a number of roles in order to help support our existing team of volunteers in producing a range of content, from photography and videography to written content across a number of media channels.
This is a fantastic opportunity to gain experience in the Sports Journalism and Media industry, earning your trade at a 11,500 seater stadium, with previous members of the team going on to take up opportunities from Solihull Moors in the National League and Brackley Town in the National League North. This opportunity is a great way to make connections and create a pathway for applicants in the local area.
We are extremely open to new projects, roles and tasks that applicants are looking to pursue to showcase creativity and their full ability and skills. This is perfect for students looking learn in an industry environment.
The available roles and responsibilities are:
Photographer:
This is a great opportunity for somebody who may be thinking of photography as a career, or whose hobby is sports photography. The role will involve taking match action, player shots and general club photos at home and away matches.
Videographer:
Creating video content for the club’s social media channels and website, including filming games, capturing pitchside footage, as well as other ad-hoc content.
Media Assistant:
We are open to looking at volunteers to produce and support with content for the club's social media channels, and website, from concept to completion.
