Midfielder Humphries joins the set up at Sixways after making 6 first team appearances for Worcester Raiders last season, having also played 5 games for Raiders’ U21 side.

However, it would be Worcester City’s U18 side where Louis would find success. The midfielder played 21 times, scoring one goal in a campaign in which Humphries would captain his City side to Herefordshire Giant Killers Cup success this year.

Louis had this to say about his new deal at Sixways: “After enjoying my time with Worcester Raiders last year, I am excited to play the season with this amazing squad, having firstly played with the U21s and later on with the first team at the back end of last season. I am extremely grateful to Karl [Gormley] and Clem [Clements] for putting their faith in me and giving me the opportunity to stay at Raiders and develop alongside some very good players who I hope to learn from. UTR!”

Gaffer Karl Gormley was delighted to get the deal over the line: “Louis [Humphries] is a player I’ve known from youth football. He’s developed into a cracking player! We had him with the U21s last season but we feel that he is now ready to make the step up. He’s a local lad and is very dedicated to his football. It’s another very good signing for us!”
