Worcester Raiders has today announced its retained list, ahead of the Club’s second season in the uhlSport Hellenic League Premier Division.

The club would like to put on record our thanks to Joe Billingham, who departs after 2 fantastic seasons at the club. During our previous campaign, Joe highlighted his intentions in travelling this year and we wish him all the best in his travels.

Joe, more commonly known to many as 'Billy', joined Worcester Raiders in the summer of 2021 from Malvern Town. This season, Billy became club captain, following the departure of Logan Stoddart, and lead the team out to a record breaking first season in Step 5 for Raiders and a first season in the FA Cup, in which the club were defeated in the First Qualifying Round by Worksop Town.

Thank you, Billy!

Striker Shay Willock joined Worcester Raiders in September on an initial one-month work experience loan. After impressing in his initial month's loan, Shay's loan was extended until the end of the season. Willock finished the season with 14 goals in 25 games and 4 Man of the Match awards, including back to back hat tricks in the final two games of the season.

Shay returns to Walsall FC with valuable experience in First Team Men's Football and we wish Shay all the best in the future!

Thank you, Shay!
